8HP Mechatronics MaxxECU Firmware Flashing Service

MaxxECU flashing is available only for supported 8HP TCUs. MaxxECU supports GEN1 8HP45, 8HP70 and 8HP90 transmissions whose TCU hardware ID is on its supported list; confirm your TCU hardware ID is supported before ordering, or contact Nalu Performance if you are unsure.

If you plan to control your transmission with a MaxxECU, the transmission's 8HP mechatronics TCU needs to be flashed with the MaxxECU firmware. Instead of renting a flash tool, you can send the TCU to us. We flash it with the latest MaxxECU firmware and send it back.

Advantages: No software to learn, no tool rental and no deposit.

Disadvantages: The unit has to be shipped to us and back, at your cost.

How the mail-in service works

1. Order the service, then contact us so we can confirm what to send, where to send it, and the return shipping address.
2. Pack the unit so it arrives undamaged. Ship it to us with a tracking number and insure the shipment for the item's actual replacement value. Carrier coverage rules apply. You pay the shipping to us.
3. After the flash, we return the unit by tracked shipping, insured and declared at a value based on the same replacement value. Return shipping is billed at the actual carrier cost, and we'll send you an invoice for it before the unit goes back.

We can't check that your TCU works before it arrives. If we can't communicate with it or it isn't compatible, we'll contact you. The service carries no warranty, and we do not offer refunds.
