Shipping policy

Processing & Lead Times

Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page. Tracking information will be provided once the shipment has been processed. Lead times may vary for custom kits, special-order components, or items sourced from our Canadian supplier.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

Domestic orders are shipped via ground freight or parcel carrier depending on the size and weight of the order. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout or quoted separately for freight shipments.

The buyer is responsible for:

  • Verifying delivery address accessibility prior to shipment
  • Confirming whether the delivery location is commercial or residential
  • Arranging liftgate service if required
  • Inspecting all freight shipments upon delivery and noting any damage with the carrier before signing

Any additional carrier-assessed fees including but not limited to residential delivery surcharges, liftgate fees, limited access fees, or redelivery charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

International Shipping & DAP Terms

All international shipments are shipped DAP — Delivered At Place (formerly known as DDU — Delivered Duty Unpaid), per Incoterms 2010.

Under DAP terms:

  • Nalu Performance is responsible for delivering the goods to the agreed destination
  • The buyer is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, brokerage fees, taxes, and any other government-imposed charges upon entry into the destination country
  • The buyer is responsible for selecting and managing their own freight broker or customs agent where applicable

Quoted shipping charges do not include any of the above import-related costs. These charges are assessed by the destination country's customs authority and are entirely the buyer's responsibility.

Nalu Performance is not responsible for any fees, delays, holds, or issues arising from the buyer's freight broker or customs clearance process. If additional fees are incurred as a result of the buyer's freight broker or customs agent failing to properly process, clear, or handle the shipment — including but not limited to storage fees, customs holds, return freight, or redelivery charges — the buyer agrees to be invoiced for and promptly pay all such fees. Nalu Performance reserves the right to pursue collection of any unpaid fees through available legal remedies.

Freight Shipment Inspection

All freight shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery before signing the carrier's delivery receipt. If damage is observed, it must be noted on the delivery receipt in the presence of the driver. Failure to note damage at the time of delivery may affect the ability to file a freight claim. Nalu Performance is not responsible for damage that is not reported at the time of delivery.

Shipping Delays

Nalu Performance is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, customs processing, or other circumstances outside of our control. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
