If you're planning on controlling your transmission with a MaxxECU, then you will need to flash your transmissions valve body.

Instead of renting the flash tool, it's also possible to send us your 8HP Mechatronics TCU and we will flash it with the MaxxECU latest firmware for you and return it.

Disadvantages: Must be well packaged to prevent any damages during shipping and shipping cost is a bit more expensive.
